Actor Leonardo DiCaprio toasts to a new investment
Multiple time award winner Leonard DiCaprio has acquired an equity stake in Rémy Cointreau’s majority-owned Champagne Telmont.
The transaction amount is currently undisclosed, but is amongst other sustainable orientated food and drink businesses that DiCaprio has invested in.
Mast-Jägermeister tries its hand at tequila
Teremana Tequila, a brand first launched in 202 by its Co-founder Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, has seen investments from German company Mast-Jägermeister. The stake size or its value has not been shared publicly. But in the company’s announcement, it was confirmed that this move came just over a year after it assumed international distribution for Teremana.
Beverage giant Refresco acquired by private equity firm
KKR, previously known as Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co, is acquiring majority control over manufacturer Refresco for an undisclosed sum.
The soft drink supplier will retain its original existing investors, PAI Partners and British Columbia Investment Management Corporation, but each firm will possess “significant minority” holdings.
